(Caitlin) I always try to go back to Cincinnati for spring break with my "big sister". Learn more about our relationship in Tackling Texas with Toddlers. Ryan stayed in New York with the pups, and I packed in as many lovely faces as possible into my 5 day trip!
Dad picked me up from the airport and took me straight to Christy's house where I was greeted by the biggest hugs from Mac and Mia, who then showed me hundreds of their new toys.
Mia played stylist and helped me pick out the perfect outfit for dinner. She told me my "jewels weren't right" and made me change! We then headed to our favorite restaurant, Jag's, with Christy's husband and both of our parents. Family dinner is my favorite part of coming home!
The next day I headed to Summit Park with Christy and the kids for some fun in the sun. After hours of playing outside we headed home for nap time followed by wine-time!
The following day I had an absolute blast hanging with my Grandma and celebrating her birthday! We chatted style and had a glass (or two) of prosecco.
That night I caught up with one of my closest friends from high school, Zach. He took me out downtown to see some familiar faces and local spots!
Next on my itinerary was my cousin's bridal shower! Megan is getting married this summer and had a beautiful event filled with yummy food and amazing time with family.
My last day in town was filled with adventure. Mac and Mia took me to the Children's Museum and Main Event. But the highlight was definitely Jimmy Johns! Mac and I have a lot in common, including our love of a #7 no tomato, slim #4 add cheese, and splitting thinny chips!
Until next time!
